    Hi AndrewLampert ,

I found out in https://www.dell.com/support/home/ph/en/phbsd1/... that Dell Precision M6400 audio driver is not supported in Windows 10.

But you can still use it by installing it in Compatibility mode.

To reinstall the device driver please follow the following steps.

    1. Uninstall the current audio driver installed.
    2. Download latest audio driver available https://dl.dell.com/FOLDER93148M/1/DRVR_WIN_R23...
    3. Right-click on the downloaded audio driver.
    4. Properties
    5. In the Compatibility Tab,>check "Run this program in compatibility for:">select windows 7>click apply
    6. Install the setup.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted.

Unable to 'restore' previous version.  I'm a writer not a technical specialist...thx for your reply and any help you have. -Andrew
