I have a Virtual Drive on my laptop - created by accident when burning an Ubuntu DVD in UDF format

I am trying to delete it - but it won't go !

I have tried using the Disk Management snap in - but using FORMAT - doesn't work !

How do I clear it from my laptop ?

    Hi Steeboo

Open Disk Management (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

In the top pane, right click that virtual drive and choose 'Delete Volume'

That should result in that virtual drive showing as unallocated space in the bottom pane

Right click the tab on the left of that drive in the bottom pane and choose 'Detach VHD'

If the above does not work for you, please let me know . ..

It has become a separate drive - a CD-ROM 1 drive - with no media in it !

And I also have 2 separate partitions that I did not create - a 900Mb "healthy OEM NTFS" and a 99Mb "healthy EFI partition" - that I want to delete - they won't shift !
