Rendering output of included Python viz libraries

Synapse by default includes a collection of various Python libraries (Anaconda dist.) among which are Seaborn and Altair, but their output is not rendered automatically in the Synapse notebooks. Are any additional configuration steps required to enable it?

Thank you for the link, I did see that, however:

  1. The built-in graphs are too primitive and crude to be useful for anything I do

  2. I managed to get DisplayHTML() to work with some libraries, but it is almost a hack - requires messing around with saving and opening files, etc., while in Jupyter and Databricks it just works as is.

Can you post some sample code?

While we have built in charts for basic scenarios you can use the most common viz libraries just as you would in Jupyter you just need to call the renderhost (like DisplayHTML when using bokeh). There should be no need to write stuff out to disk.
