BSOD "Kernel Data Inpage Error" after going into stand-by mode - new Acer Notebook, fresh Windows 10 Home installed

Hi, got a new notebook yesterday, it's this model: Acer A515-54G-50F2

I freshly installed Windows 10 Home to get rid of the bloatware. Whenever I go into stand by modus or energy saver modus (if that's what's called in english), I get a "KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR" or "CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED" bluescreen when I try to wake up the notebook. It boots normally afterwards.

I already checked the SSD and RAM for errors with the Windows tools, it all appears to be working fine, so I guess it must be a driver problem? I installed the newest nVidia GPU driver, the Intel chipset driver from the acer.com homepage, problem persists.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi Markus

What is the Make and exact Model No. of your PC, that will be printed on a sticker on the bottom casing . ..

From the support page for your PC, download and install the Intel RST, the chipset driver and if there is an Intel HD graphics driver

    Hi!

    Model-No.: N18Q13

I installed the Intel IRST and Chipset driver. There's no Intel HD graphics driver.

    Thank you very much!

    Hello Dave!

Thanks a lot for your reply. Unfortunately, I can not not find any of the two drivers you mentioned for my model on the manufactures homepage.

    How do I proceed?

    Thanks a lot in advance!

    Hi Markus

The minidump files indicate TeeDriverW8x64.sys is the driver which is causing your System crashes, that is part of the Intel Management Engine Interface installed on your new PC, there is also one Minidump file which indicates the Intel Smart Sound driver on your System . . .

Go to the support page for your PC on the manufacturers website, then from there, look for Intel IME and possibly Intel Smart Sound, you should download and install the version they recommend, which will be more compatible than the versions installed by Windows 10 updates . ..
