Mouse Problem - Operations occuring without clicking

As I move my cursor to some position on the screen using my mouse an action will be executed without ever clicking.  As an example if i am in outlook and the cursor is on the trash icon, the current highlighted message will be deleted without ever clicking the mouse button.  I tried a different mouse and the problem still exists.  An additional really strange part of the problem that the problem gets worse and worse the longer I am on the computer.  I also tried switching which button is the primary button (right or left).  This did not help.  Operations that require double clicks are not executed.

    Hi BSturm531,
Thank you so much for the update. I really appreciate it.

You may try enabling the hidden administrator account of the system and see if it works there.

Open cmd with admin rights. Type in: net user administrator /active:yes then press Enter.

Switch to that Administrator profile and see if that makes any difference.

If this does the same thing, you may need to download and install the latest mouse driver from the computer manufacturer's website since you already tried updating it from the Device Manager.

    Sid
