Restore DPM Online Protection directly in Azure VMs

Question

We secure our servers with DPM directly to Azure.

If our data center fails (e.g. burns down) we would now like to test how we can restore the machines directly in Azure in order to boot them up there.

Is it possible to restore DPM backups directly in Azure without DPM?

Currently this is not possible. You can only restore to an on-premises host.
