I can't imagine any software that uses so much memory. With one exception: malware.
Unusually high RAM usage
Over the past few days I've noticed a significant increase in RAM usage. What used to only be like 10 GB is now well over 50 gb.

2020-04-14T14:53:09+00:00 Hello Melting,
Good day!
I'm Jericho, a fellow customer and an individual advisor. I am happy to assist you!
To further help you, may I know if you have had a recent windows update on your computer?
I would suggest that you perform a full virus scan to your computer and see if that helps.
You may also want to try to run an sfc can and a DISM clean up.
- Press the Windows key or click start, type in CMD right-click and click on "Run as an administrator".
- Type in: sfc /scannow
- Press Enter. Wait until it finishes.
- Type in: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
- Hit enter. Wait until it finishes.
- Restart your computer and see if that solves the issue.
Hope that helps! Please let me know if you have other queries/concerns.
Cheers,
Jericho
DISM seems to have slowed how fast it climbs, but my computer needs to be on for at least a couple hours to see if it goes above 55 GB.
