How to fix Keyboard Delay/Lag on Windows 10 Wake from Sleep?

So I just got a new laptop but I’ve been experiencing this problem that’s only occurred on this laptop and none of my other windows devices where when I want to sign in to my laptop from sleep, my keyboard will delay for about 10 seconds until it finally actuated a key press allowing me to go past the Lock Screen and be able to sign into my password text box. I can click on my touchpad and all external input devices like a different keyboard and mouse still work but my exclusive keyboard on the laptop does not work right from the get go. I don’t believe it’s an issue with the keyboard itself but possibly an OS issue. I’ve done many many fixes including a fresh reinstallation of windows, I’ve disabled many start up tasks, none have provided a permanent fix. Although since reinstalling windows, the issue occurs less but it still occurs often enough that it is a real annoyance. I just want to be able to sign in quickly and make sure my keyboard registers the key presses as soon as I wake my laptop and not have to wait 10 seconds.

If this problem still persists after a fresh reinstallation of windows, it most likely a hardware problem. I would suggest you contact the laptop manufacturer for inspection and maintenance.
