Keyboard Won't Function on Word

User is activated and licensed, I tried many troubleshooting steps and still no luck.

    Thanks I will give this a shot when the user becomes available. Yes keyboard does function on other office applications except word.

    I understand how can this be frustrating but rest assure that I'll help you solve this one.

    May I know if your keyboard is working in other applications? If not as well, please do let me know.

    For the mean time, cases related to this can be because of corrupted or missing system files that are related to your drivers can lead to this error.

    1. Press the Windows key or click start, type in CMD right-click and click on "Run as an administrator".
    2. Type in: sfc /scannow
    3. Press Enter. Wait until it finishes.
    4. Type in: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
    5. Hit enter. Wait until it finishes.
    6. Restart your computer and see if that solves the issue.

    Hey JericoFlores thanks for your response, but I also tried this method before and had no success as well. I don't want to result to uninstalling his office 2016 because it's tied in to a spreadsheet server and we don't want that to break along with the add-ins that he has.

    Thank you for your response. Apologies as the solution didn't help. Let us try some fixes that might help you with your issue from your keyboard.

    If such issue only happens on a particular Microsoft application, I might suggest that you try to us a repair for this one. Please the link below.
