    Hello johnnyhale1,

I'm John an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I want to apologize if you encountered this issue. I understand your trying to print using your printer but its offline. What is the make and model of your Printer? What Edition of Windows 10? (Home,Pro)

Step 1. Unplug and restart your printer

Sometimes power cycling your printer can resolve the issue. Turn off your printer and unplug it, wait 30 seconds, plug your printer back in, and then turn the printer back on.

Step 2. Check cables or wireless connection

Change a printer’s status from “offline” to “online”

Step 3. Check to make sure the printer is turned on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your PC. Your printer's built-in menu should show which network it's connected to, or check your printer's manual for more info.

Verify that your printer is not in Use Printer Offline mode. Select Start > Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners. Then select your printer > Open queue. Under Printer, make sure Use Printer Offline is not selected.

If these steps don't put your printer back online, then read Troubleshooting offline printer problems.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any further concerns.
