Hi All,

This happens each time I receive a windows update.

Every time I have to get into command prompt and follow steps like the below:

http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/13827.windows-server-2008-event-id-257-system-catalog-database-integrity.aspx

This is not something I want to do for every update on my PC. Anything I'm missing or a way to repair?

Any help appreciated.

The first step would be to try resetting Windows updates using an automatic script. See:

    http://www.yourwindowsguide.com/2015/12/windows...

Make sure you run the script as an administrator.
