Ouch! Please don't yell at us. We can hear you if you type normally, in mixed case.

If you have a single license and are trying to use it on more than one device, no, you can not do that.

The rule is quite clear. It's one copy (or one license) for each computer.

There's nothing new here. This is exactly the same rule that's been in effect on every version of Windows starting at least with Windows 3.1.

The only exception is Enterprise versions, but they only make economic sense if you have a lot of computers.

    Hi there,

This is Wil, one of the independent advisor, an expert with Windows 10 and a fellow Windows 10 user like you.

Retail Windows 10 licenses can only be activated on 1 computer at a time. If you want to activate Windows 10 on multiple devices, you would need to have a Volume License Key which is only for organization or company use only.

I hope the information I provided will help you. If you need further assistance please do reply back and I will respond as quickly as possible. Have a nice day.

    Thanks,

    Wilfred P.

    Independent Advisor
