Create New "Text Document" Option Is Missing From Windows Context Menu

Hello Community,

                          The option for creating new "Text Document" is no longer available in Windows context menu. What's wrong. Please help me.

    Hi Binoy,

    I am Sumit, an Independent Advisor and a 3 year Windows Insider MVP here to help.

    This is done by a registry error usually triggered by a 3rd party program like Notepad++. Use the Restore_New_Text_Document_context_menu_item.reg to restore the same.

    Thanks It Works. Already I visited that site. But I am a little bit confusing whether it is safe or not. As you told me that, "Content on the above blog is written by a Microsoft MVP so it is safe". I got my confident.

    Fair enough to say that the content posted on the community is safe(MVPs are a guarantee) as moderators keep a watch on illegal/dangerous content.
