Windows 10 short freezes

I have an Acer Aspire 7 laptop, and sometimes the screen freezes for a short period of time. When the problem stops, all inputs are executed. For example, when i write into a document and the screen freezes, all the characters, that i typed in will appear in the right places, but only after the problem stops. When it freezes, the frame rate drops to 6-10 fps and after the problem ends, it goes back to normal values.

Is there a solution to that problem?

The operation system alwayas up to date, and the drivers too, but if you have any idea, i will try it.

Open Event Viewer application error logs created immediately after such freezing.

You may also check the same in Clean Boot state.

You may also try Windows Performance Monitor

I think this issue may be caused by process hanging. To solve this problem, we can use Performance Monitor to check the cause of it. How to use Performance Monitor please see: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-use-performance-monitor-windows-10.

Thanks for the tipps, the Performance Monitor shows the problem, but i can't find a solution. . I uploaded a picture of the Performance Monitors graph. It seems pretty regular. The red line in the graph is the processor usage, the others is the hard drives. What else should i monitor?

Windows 10 freezes randomly may be caused by the following reasons:
• Update your drivers
• Clear your computer’s temp files
• Adjust your virtual memory
• Run a memory check
• Run Disk Check
• Run System File Checker

Thanks for the answer.
Unfortunately, neither solved the problem, but as far as i can tell it seems the Windows Explorer raises the processor usage. Is there something else that i can try?

Or you can try the following methods:
1. Try turn off Delivery Optimization in Settings to see if this issue happens again. Open Settings --> click Update & Security --> click Delivery Optimization --> turn off Allow downloads from other PCs
2. Run sfc /scannow in an elevated command prompt
3. You can do a clean boot and temporarily turn off the security softwares of three parties at the same time.
4. Check the update again to see if there are any uninstalled ones.
5. It seems that you have a problem with the videocard driver, you can go to the vendor's official website to download and install again, or change to a lower version of the driver.
