Skype for Business Status Not Sync with Outlook Calendar

Hi, I noticed that there are some instances that my Skype status doesn't match the event in my calendar. This usually happens when I manually change status. For example, I have a meeting at 12 p.m. I changed my status to Busy or Away at 11 a.m. It remains in that status even it is already my meeting time instead of changing it automatically to In a Meeting. Another example, my work hours are set up in my calendar from 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. In some cases I go on overtime and logs out at 3 a.m. When I change my status to Off Work, it recognizes that I have been in Off Work status for how many hours even if I just changed to that status. How can I resolve these issues? Thank you. Reply

    Hi @ChrisLearner

In this case, we recommend you try to check your status settings manually in Skype for Business client.

To complete it, you need to click the gear icon in Skype for Business and select “Personal”, then select “Microsoft Exchange or Microsoft Outlook" in the "Personal Information Manager" dropdown and click the checkbox for “Update my presence based on my calendar information”.

In addition, please try to click the “reset status” to see if this issue can be fixed.
