Sharepoint 2010 User cannot see updated files

Hi
User cannot see updates on files from other users and is unable to publish\save new files to the site. User's library permissions are set at "full control". There appears to be another permission or setting affecting the user, which I am unable to locate. There are no files waiting to be checked-in. I am not sure where else to look Please please advise

    Do you see this behavior for other users in this site collection?

    I suggest you remove this user from this site collection/all the libraries. Make sure the user is completely removed from the User Information List of this site collection ( /_layouts/15/people.aspx?MembershipGroupId=0 ).

    After that, re-grant the user Full Control permission and test again.
