I understand that one of the way of Integrating ADF dataflow with On Prem sources (such as SAP, Oracle etc) is to Use Copy Data to move data to Data store and then use Dataflow to perform data integration.
Are there any other ways which can enable to use On-Prem Data sources (as Lookups, source, target etc) directly in a Data flow.
Please advise.

Use the ELT pattern by staging data in the Lake using Copy Activity, then transform w/data flow is currently the only mechanism for SAP or Oracle.

There is always a way but the complexity and cost involved would not be worth it.
