Recover data in Azure Data Explorer

Hello,

I accidentally clear the table data by using the command: clear table [tableName] data. Is it possible to recover data? Thanks a lot!

Hello @JingOu-6357,
Thanks for the ask and using the Microsoft Q&A platform .

If the table's effective retention policy has 'Recoverability' set to 'Enabled', and less than 14 days have passed – it should be possible.

To do so, you will have to work with the Microsoft support team ..

Please do let me know how it goes .
Thanks
Himanshu

Thank you for your reply. I just found downstream data to help recover my data, and it solved my problem. Back to the question itself, I asked kusto team about it . They told me as you said, first set retention policy with Recoverability with Enabled, then open a support request (https://aka.ms/kustosupport). I haven't tried it yet, but it seems that it is a auto-reply chatbot which helps you recover data.

Thanks,
Jing Ou
