Hi,

Onedrive deleted my files from some folders, mostly older, but not deleted the folders.
I don't know since when it begin to delete my files but I realize when my backup disk crashed and I tried to recover from Onedrive.
Restoring 30 days is not enough.
Is there any solution?

Thanks!

    Hi @Jaume Casajuana

Based on your description, I have some questions as below.

Do you use OneDrive for personal or OneDrive for work or school?

Is your OneDrive synced to your computer?
If so, please check the Recycle Bin (on a PC) or Trash (on a Mac).

    >Restoring 30 days is not enough.

<<Do you mean that you would like to restore files that are deleted over 30 days?

Please make sure you are signed in with the correct Microsoft account and to check if the storage space of your OneDrive is full.

Besides, you may refer to this article "Restore deleted items from the site collection recycle bin" to see if you could restore files from second-stage recycle bin.

    Hi erinding,

<<Do you mean that you would like to restore files that are deleted over 30 days?
No!, the files dissapear I don't know when!
I realize because I was looking for a script created by me about 2018 and it wasn't there!

it's a personal account and is synched with my computer.
I've tried to restore my files but must be older than 1 month. My recycle bin don't have the files.
    I'm signed ok and I have 1TB and I'm using 250GB.
It's a weird problem because the folders are in the Onedrive but not the files !!!

Where is that second-stage on my personal account?

    Thxs for your answer

    Hi @Jaume Casajuana

    Thanks for your reply.

    > it's a personal account and is synched with my computer.

<< Since you use OneDrive for personal, you may not find the second-stage recycle bin at the bottom of the Recycle Bin page. Generally, this is visible to OneDrive for Business users.
If synched with your computer, when you delete/remove files in OneDrive from local computer, it deletes it from your OneDrive everywhere.

    > I've tried to restore my files but must be older than 1 month. My recycle bin don't have the files.

<< This is an expected behavior of Microsoft. If you have tried the methods above, you may not find your missing files.

For personal suggestion, it is recommended to specify which folders you would like to sync instead of all folders.
