Solved - Every second hard drive access by wmiprvse.exe

I just finished a clean install and all the updates on used computer with Windows 10 Home (Activated). I am not sure if this was happening from the start but with the TV on I could not hear it, but now every second, non stop wmiprvse.exe accesses my hard drive, making it tick like a wall clock. If I kill or suspend wmiprvse it stops. When booting up or shutting down it stops. Suspending all the ntdll.dll!TpReleaseCleanupGroupMembers+0x450 from second picture also stops the HD checking but also stopped system check of Nvidia installer. I cant find anything like this online with a fix. Any ideas?

All drivers look installed, everything works, Microsoft Store disabled.

FIX - I found a dll reference with Process Explorer, cimwin32.dll and googled it with some other words and got this site: https://appuals.com/wmi-provider-host-wmiprvse-exe-high-cpu-usage-on-windows-10/
Ended up using msconfig, services, checking hide all MS services, and disabling all. Reboot, no clicking. Enable 1/2, reboot no clicking. Enable a few more, reboot until clicking came back. Stupid MSI_Activex_Service was the issue. Its part of a MSI Command Center. Doing some more MSI program and Bios updates. now

Thanks CarlFan-MSFT and SSengupta-4080 for trying but your links did not help.

    Hi,
Please refer to the information below:
High CPU usage by the WMI Provider Host (WmiPrvSE.exe) process at regular intervals in Windows
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-server/system-management-components/high-cpu-usage-wmiprvse-process-regular-intervals
Meanwhile, WMI is the interface to access information, so access to the hard disk is normal. I consider that you may could check the WMI to see who called WMI.
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/wmisdk/wmi-log-files
Hope this helps and please help to accept as Answer if the response is useful.
    Best Regards,
    Carl

Well, maybe late but I recently got the same issue. The source was Transcend Elite, a file sync app for Transcend storage drives. Removing it solved the issue.
