I am creating a document that has multiple drop down sections. When another dependent list is selected the selections clear out of all other boxes. How do I stop this from happening so all boxes hold.
*I have 5+ selections that need to have populated options based on 1 main drop down.

Clearly, you need to differentiate between dropdowns, so that only those controls applicable to each one get updated/cleared. See, for example:
