    Windows Embedded Standard 7 is not a real-time OS, thus it has the same performance as Windows 7 desktop. I have not seen any tests results or posts on latency numbers. The only performance issues is boot up, network performance, and running older applications not build for Windows 7 having an issue.

    There are add on solutions like TenAsys INtime that add on real-time support.
