When will Node.js version 12.17.0 be available on Azure websites?

We're looking to use the asyncLocalstorage and are blocked deploying as it's not yet supported by Azure and we can't find a way of manually pushing a version of node on an Azure web App.

Hi @Az-4342,

Thanks for you inquiry. I'll reach out to the product group to see if there's a tenative timeframe. In the meantime, if you need 12.17.x, one option is creating your own container.

EDIT: The product group is tenatively scheduled to release 12.18.0 in ~3 weeks due to the fact it's a security release https://nodejs.org/en/blog/vulnerability/june-2020-security-releases/

Sorry @Az . I can't be any more precise than the 3 week approximate timing. You can keep tabs on https://github.com/Azure/app-service-announcements/issues though for runtime updates.
