Pen use in Teams on a chromebook

I intend to buy a chromebook convertible with pen support in order to have a small device, which boots fast, is cheap and allows me to share handwritten sketches to illustrate my arguments.

Is it possible to use the whiteboard to take screen notes and share it with other participants? This would be perfect for me, but the whiteboard Android app seems to be still beta and I am not sure ift teams supports whiteboard scketches in the browser. What would be the best way to achieve my goal?

@MichaelThimm-1481,

Is it possible to use the whiteboard to take screen notes and share it with other participants?

Sure. The ability to start a new Whiteboard is currently limited to the Microsoft Teams clients on Windows 10, macOS, and for the web. The Teams apps for iOS and Android cannot initiate sharing a whiteboard, but they can collaborate once a whiteboard is shared.

This means, that from Chrome OS I would have to innitiate the Whiteboard from the browser and than I would start the Android App in order to collaborate with other participants?
