Authenticate Using Microsoft on Android

Question

For some time I've not been able to sign-in to my Android app, my screen would just be black (assuming a crash), when clicking my sign-in button.

The function crashes when trying to retrieve FirebaseAuth firebaseAuth = FirebaseAuth.getInstance();

I've also posted this question to stack overflow in more depth (see below), and my web app sign-in seems to work just fine. Here is how my current platform config looks like (adding an Android one didn't seem to help):
