cannot delete or configure app service - Conflict Operation in Progress for 12 hours now

Good day, I setup a new app service plan in a new region and did a restore to a new app service and deleted the old app service and app plan, however I now cannot add the SSL binding to this app service and also cannot remove or edit anything in the configuration for more than 12 hours now?

Conflict
Message
Cannot modify this site because another operation is in progress. Details: Id: , OperationName: Restore, CreatedTime: 4/6/2021 6:17:46 PM, RequestId: , EntityType: 3



the Webapp is working and I can browse to it, however I cannot edit any of the configs and I cannot even delete it to try again.

Please advise how I can find out how to stop this restore operation.

now been 24 hours and still no luck, simply seems its stuck in the restore mode

Hi Good day Ryan,

Thank you for the email, I have replied this morning with all the details.

Have you guys prehaps had a chance to look into this issue yet? as am still stuck? surely there must be some timeout on any operation that gets stuck?

Also is there any ways of finding these long running operations? and stopping them?

Hi @SimonSkelton-4117, per your email you were able to delete and restore your app services. I'll check your error messages, see if there's anything that sticks out to me.

Good day Ryan, I checked and cannot find anything in the Activity monitor except the errors pertaining to the long running operation that I was getting, such a pity as I would love to know the route cause.
