I've had WSUS running under a specific URL for a while. Now I want to change the URL and I just can't seem to find the details.
How do you change the fqdn of the WSUS Server?
I've tried wsusutil to set SSL but that doesn't seem to be right. It just comes back as the old url.
I realized what went wrong. I just removed the old URLs in IIS.

Are you talking about in the WSUS MMC? Right click, remove, right click Add Server, specify the new name (assuming DNS is already updated).
Are you talking about changing the computername of the system? If so, use the PowerShell Command
Rename-Computer -NewName
In WSUS after you create the server the default is the hostname you build the server on. I'd created some cnames and added them in IIS and setup SSL with those names.
I'd retired a domain and the zone that went with it. When I was using wsusutil and running the ssl command it was showing the old dns name. I just needed to remove it in IIS and it started to show a different name in wsusutil. I guess it just reads whatever is in the list of host headers.
