Hi everyone,

I have a client with a user mailbox eg :- name@mathieu.company .com

and a shared-mailbox eg :- accounts@mathieu.company .com

enabled in his Outlook.

When I enable In-Place archive to the user (with custom retention policy of 2 years to archive ), will the emails from the shared mailbox also go to the In-place archive folder or just the relevant emails matching the 2 years criteria from the user mailbox that go into the archive?

Thanks!
Cheers

No, just the emails from the user's primary mailbox. If you need to enable archiving for the shared mailbox, you need to do it separately, and you should also license it first.
