Xamarin iOS Provisioning Profile Expiry Date

iOS application that I've built has its provisioning profile expire in few days.

My question is, does Editing a profile on developer.apple. com and reinstalling expiration (for another year) mean that my issue with access to the application will be nonexistent?

Or do I need to recompile the application with the 'new' Provisioning Profile?

The name of the profile and all of the settings stayed the same as they were before.

    Yes, If you do not use Free provisioning, you can open the Apple Developer Account management page, find the Provisioning Profile that is about to expire, Edit—>Generate, download the updated Provisioning Profile file, and repackage it.
