I need to add custom buttons with notification title and body. How can I add notification buttons and on clicking on those buttons I need to perform certain actions such as API call and navigation.

If so, you can add
AddAction(Resource.Drawable.tick_notify, "ARCHIVE", contentIntent)to the android notification, If not, share a screenshot about your needs. And I am confused about notification received in background and killed mode? If you notification is not FCM or other remote notification, you cannot recieve notification when application was killed.
