Hi,

As per my knowledge, for using Hyper-V, either we can use Windows 10 or Windows Server 2016/ 2019.

Please let us know, which OS is better for using Hyper-V only?

And how both Hyper-V are different from each other?

If available, please share links that can compare both Hyper-V.

With Regards
NndnG

    Hi,

Hyper V live migration and Hyper V replication are depend on the AD domain.

SR-IOV network also depends on Network card features. And SR-IOV is related to the Live migration feature.

Generally, VMs Interactive operation with other Hyper V servers requires AD domain, such as live migration, replication.

If the VM only stays on the current Hyper V host, Windows 10 system is enough for VM management.

If there are any other concerns or questions, please feel free to let me know.

    Thanks for your time!
    Best Regards,
    Anne
