Microsft Teams: Some search results don't appear until filtering

In Microsoft Teams, I'm trying to search for when a certain person sends a message to the General channel of a team, or for mentions of a term in the General channel. If I type the term or person in the search bar at the top, I get results from some teams (but not all of them), and from private conversations (things in the Chat tab). If I go to filter and choose a particular Team, then I can see more results. Why do those results not show up when I don't have the filter? Shouldn't ALL matches be showing without the filter?

    Did you try using search modifiers for richer search results?

    Hi MinicMichaelW-5886,

    When you use search bar to search some terms, the results keeping loading when you slide the scrollbar.

    I guess the results you have seen are not the whole.
