Automatically update the linked information in SharePoint

Question

I am creating a Sharepoint Communication site. I am linking all the already available internal data to my sharepoint. Is there any way that the links are automatically updated when the source link is changed or can I create a sharepoint list in which I just update the old link with a new one and it gets updated at all the places in my sharepoint?

Hi, @Adwait Jahagirdar ,

I assume you are trying to create a list holding all the links for the resources needed. For that scenario, we are not able to make the link automatically updated in SharePoint.

If the file is stored in a SharePoint library, we can keep the file been shared with same people if it is moved to a new location, however the link will no longer work.
