Adding Logs from SQL Hosted on VM to a Log Analytics Workspace

Hello.

I'm looking for guidance regarding how to gather SQL logs generated by MSSQL instances hosted on Azure VMs using a Log Analytics workspace (if this is possible at all).

Searching hasn't yielded any helpful results yet so any ideas would be very much appreciated.
