I don't see a lock icon in the image you attached.
My guess would be that you can't edit anything about these data sources in Power Pivot itself, since they were created in Power Query. Instead, you have to edit them in PQ.

I'm working on a PP model, but a number of the data sources have the lock icon. as per the attached image.
The data source contains data from 3 sources. Two dB queries and a link to an excel file. In the applied steps on Power Query Editor, I don't have either the Edit Settings or View Native Query options.
A couple of questions.
What does the lock mean and how do I amend the query?
