    Hello @RichelleLanuza-2661,

    Thank you for your update.

Based on my knowledge, Microsoft doesn't allow Home editions of Windows to join domains, because they figure that home users won't be connecting to any type of domain.

Do you want one list of clients and servers that can be joined one Windows domain? If so, we can see below:

    Workstation editions:
Windows 10: Pro, Enterprise, and Education
Windows 8 and 8.1: Pro and Enterprise
Windows 7: Professional, Ultimate, and Enterprise
Windows Vista: Business, Ultimate, and Enterprise
    Windows XP: Professional

    Server (all editions):
    Windows Server 2019
    Windows Server 2016
    Windows Server 2012 and 2012R2
    Windows Server 2008 and 2008R2
    Windows Server 2003 and 2003R2
    Windows Server 2000

Should you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,
    Daisy Zhou

    Hello @RsLanuza,

    Thank you for posting here.

Based on "May I know what operating system are compatible for Windows Desktop or Windows Server to Microsoft ADDS (Domain Controller)?", do you mean what operating system can be install AD DS role (what operating system can be DCs)? If so, if we can add ADDS role through "add roles and features", and configure it as DC, then this server can be a Domain Controller.

If anything I misunderstood, please correct me.
