How to block access to URLs by IP address range in MSedge

I am setting up a kiosk and want to block access to URLs on my internal network which are in the form 192.168..

The URLBlockList policy (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/deployedge/microsoft-edge-policies#urlblocklist) is clearly the tool, and I can block access to individual ip addresses by adding them to this policy. However any attempt to add a wildcard (eg 192.168.1.*) fails to work.

The format of the blocklist is defined https://learn.microsoft.com/en-gb/DeployEdge/edge-learnmmore-url-list-filter%20format however there is no example where the blocklist is an ip address range.

Does anyone know how to do this?
