Adding the --verbose tag to a git fetch command in an Azure DevOps Pipeline

I am looking for the method to add an option to the fetch command in an Azure devOPS build pipeline. The command appears to be autogenerated when the pipeline initiates a build. I need to get a list of the files and versions that are being pulled from the Git repository. I am new to devOps, so any help would be appreciated.
