How do I import data from Web in excel using login details. It does not allow me to enter my login credentials.
If anyone could provide me with steps that would be highly appreciated.

What version of Office are you using?
Is there any error message? If yes, please provide the details or a screenshot of it.
How did you import the data from web? It would better if there is a sample file.
Go to Data>From Web to enter your URL, click OK, then select Basic to enter your login credentials to have a check.

I am using Excel 365 for personal use and it does not prompt me to enter credentials. I am trying to import my Live Wedding Guest List from https://www.theknot.com/our-guest-list/?event=all&party=true. I also tried using the simple URL https://www.theknot.com/and that one prompted me to login, but after entering them, it still says "Access to the resource is forbidden." Upon clicking Edit to try a different password, it only brings me back to input the URL. I don't have the option to enter new credentials. Retry just gives back the same error.
I also tried clearing the cache within Excel and am still not able to get back to the credential prompt.

Is there any update on this please? I'm trying to import data from a password protected website (ours!), but I have no option to enter credentials anywhere, I just get the message:
Details: "The credentials provided cannot be used for the Web source. Please update the credential type through a refresh or in the Data Source Settings dialog to continue.
Help please?
