Import data from Web using login details

How do I import data from Web in excel using login details. It does not allow me to enter my login credentials.

If anyone could provide me with steps that would be highly appreciated.

    Hi @pasang kaji sherpa ,

    What version of Office are you using?
    Is there any error message? If yes, please provide the details or a screenshot of it.

    How did you import the data from web? It would better if there is a sample file.

    Go to Data>From Web to enter your URL, click OK, then select Basic to enter your login credentials to have a check.

    • Data - Queries & Connections
    • Double click your query that will pop-up on the right
    • Choose Data Source Settings and then Edit Permissions

    You'll be able to access the screens above from there.

    Hi,

    Is there any update on this please? I'm trying to import data from a password protected website (ours!), but I have no option to enter credentials anywhere, I just get the message:

    Details: "The credentials provided cannot be used for the Web source. Please update the credential type through a refresh or in the Data Source Settings dialog to continue.

    Help please?
