Can a new user assign to Posix style ACL's without RBAC in Data Lake storge gen2

Hi all,

i have a active directory user say A

i want to assign him Posix style ACL's- folder permission without RABC permission.

it is possible or not please confirm

if this is case then no use of ACL. because RBAC overwrite ACL
please correct me if i am wrong.

Hello @manishverma-7371 ,

You mentioned that the the user is already in the same AD , Just make sure that the user has the acces on the subscription level and yes that way it should work out as you mentioned .

in this case we can ACL is no more. because client have idea on gen1 ACL, thy are force to implement in Gen2 also but now we have answer we can say in Gen2 there is no ACL
