Hello,

There is a Gpo network on Manage Bookmarks for the entire organization. (In the main OU for all departments.)
Is it possible to create Gpo on Manage Bookmarks for certain classes but not to override the Gpo above but only add sites belonging to the class itself.

Thanks in advance

    Hi mby,

    Thanks for your reply.

    So here is the question:

Sometimes you need to add a site for all the users.

And sometimes you need to add a site for certain departments.

Since it is the same setting, i don't think we can manage it at the the parent GPO and child GPOs at the same time.

There will be only one winning GPO. This is how the Group Policy works.

    Best Regards,
    Vicky

Hi, do you mean, for EdgeChromium?
This setting documentation explains the ManagedFavorites setting, but it doesn't directly answer your question, and I've not personally tried this, so you may need to test it out to confirm the behaviour meets your needs:

    Hi mby,

Thank you for posting in our forum.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to deploy a strategy on the child OU, which conflicts with the strategy on the parent OU, but you don't

want to overwrite the strategy on the parent OU. If I understand it wrong, please let me know.

According to my experience, the policy on the child OU takes precedence over the policy on the parent OU. If the GPO on the parent and child OU deploys the same

policy and conflicts, then the policy on the child OU will override the policy on the parent OU.

Hope this information can help you

    Best wishes
    Vicky

    Hello,
Thanks for the answers, first of all this is a browser in Chrome.
I want a merger of OU Parent and OU child.
Because every time you need to add a site to all the classes, you have to add it to all the gpo child.

    Hi mby,

    Thanks for your reply.

Users can be migrated; policies can be deployed on the parent OU. If you want to target some users, you can use security filtering.

Hope this information can help you

    Best wishes
