visual studio for mac ~/.config folder permissions issue

Hi,

I'm trying to use Visual Studio for Mac but I am unable to download the android SDK along with the general installation as it keeps popping up with

Unable to install Android components due to wrong permissions

Please change the permissions of the "~/.config" folder so a regular user has read and write access to it.

I've tried to find it via the go function and can't so wondering if there's any help for this.. i'm interning to help with an android app so is sorta required to have the android SDKs etc.

Our tag(vs-general) is related to Visual Studio IDE, which is different from Visual Studio for MAC. Please start a new thread in the Visual Studio for MAC of Developer Community where you will get a better support. Thanks for your understanding.
