How to have a hyperlink run a command when clicked on? And have the command go away after about 5 seconds? Sharepoint 2010

Hello. Before I start please let me know if I'm in over my head or a little too over zealous. My question is essentially the title. On my SharePoint 2010 helpdesk, I would like to have a hyperlink that a customer can click on that will run a command/commands. That's pretty much it. Does anyone have a way forward with this? Or at least point me in the right direction so I can get started? Thank you.

    Hi @Jakobe Brown ,

Could you please describe what the command is? If it is a Powershell command, you could use SharePoint Management Shell:

In addition, I would suggest that you consider upgrading SP2010, it has left mainstream support, and we will gradually stop support in the future.
