AFAIK Visual Studio Community cannot only be used in organizations that have more than 250 PC. But can you still install it on one of those PCs if you are only going to use it for personal non-commercial projects?

    Hi @pew pew ,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

After checking the Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 Licensing document,
If you are an individual developer, you can use Visual Studio Community to create your own free or paid apps. But please clarify that the “non-commercial projects” is belong to “your own” or “your company” in a work PC.

If you are in an organization, it is noted that “An unlimited number of users within an organization can use Visual Studio Community for the following scenarios: in a classroom learning environment, for academic research, or for contributing to open source projects.”.
I suppose you should check if your projects are open source projects or not.

If there is a need, I recommend you install and use the Visual Studio Community on your personal computer.

    Sincerely,
    Anna
