WPF TextBox Binding

Question

Hello I am trying to retrieve some data from a set of TextBoxes. I don't know how to make it right. Can you please help me?

What happens when you run it? Without the whole code it is hard to tell what's wrong, but try creating the DataContext in the constructor right after InitializeComponent();

Hi,
you use Covert.ToInt32(RemainingSessions.Text). If RemainingSessions contains any invalid string you get this error. It's better to check the string before using convert.

System.Windows.Data Error: 40 : BindingExpression path error: 'StudentObservations' property not found on 'object' ''StudentsViewModel' (HashCode=33115615)'. BindingExpression:Path=StudentObservations; DataItem='StudentsViewModel' (HashCode=33115615); target element is 'TextBox' (Name=''); target property is 'Text' (type 'String')

That's the part where i need some help to solve, this error.

Hi,
the Text property of TextBox is bound to the StudentObservations property in StudentsViewModel (DataContext). The StudentObservations property cannot be bound because it is missing or of an inappropriate type.
