Where is Azure Cognitive Services Word Translation services hosted (Country).

If I choose to translate a document from English to German, where is the azure cognitive translation service hosted (country) that processes the translation. I know no data is persistently stored but need to data flow where this request is processed. If distributed in various countries, can you select/configure where translation occurs or is there automation that guides the requests to any specific translation site.

    This depends on which region your service is in and the data center. When you created your service, you can select your region. https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/global-infrastructure/services/?products=cognitive-services

    So if we have a resource group that uses 0365 in Ireland (all of EU) and they wish to use translation services, can the be pointed to the Azure Cognitive Translation services in Ireland? We have 4 global locations (Japan, Australia, US, Ireland) and from a data privacy perspective we want to know where the translation processing is occurring (even if the data is not persistently stored). It would be on our dataflow diagram as a processing activity and we like EU staff to translate in EU.
