What is Level 5 - ****/**** XP point?

Hi,
I completed all 9 modules of Azure Fundamental Learning path and obtained 12000XP points. I still see on the top RHS of the page, another point indicator which states "LEVEL 5 - 3500/7699 XP". I did not understand what does this "LEVEL 5--/ XP" indicate & how do I qualify to secure all 7699 XP points?
I am a non-technical person interested to learn MS Technologies on Cloud. Thank you.

    750 / 7699 XP specifically mean

    750 XP → XP you have earned towards the next level
    7699 XP→ Total XP required to reach Level 6
    Level 5 →Your current level Once you reach 7699 XP, you’ll move to Level 6
