Windows server 2003 I want to replicate it on a windows 2008 but I can't, I did tests from 2008 to 2008 and if it worked, but from 2003 to 2008 it didn't, and that's what we have in the company. Any solution?

    Hi,
To understand the issue more clearly, would you please tell more information about the replication?
    Best Regards,

    Might try the nonauthoritative restore
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/290762/using-the-burflags-registry-key-to-reinitialize-file-replication-servi

or simply move roles off, demote, reboot, dcpromo the problematic one.

    Hi,
You can try the method provided by DSPatric.
Or you can consider replace the old one by a 2008 server.
If you can't demote it successfully, you may consider:

    Best Regards,
