Adding a group in Azure AD (Azure Active Directory > Groups > New Group.)

Hi there,

I am new to Azure. As part of one of the learning experiences, i was trying to add a group (Azure Active Directory > Groups > New Group.), however i dont the see the option available. The screen navigates to portal.azure.com

Have attached the snapshot and posted the link below as well
Please clarify.

    The error you see means that you do not have permission to create the group.

    Make sure you are logging in with a global admin account as described in the group creation guide.

    At minimum you need one of the roles that can create groups. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/roles/permissions-reference
