What happens if I go from Windows 10 ver. 2004 to ver. 1903?? Will I still be able to use the .exe downloaded in version 2004? Will I lose any files and if so, is there a way I can save them in a cloud before downgrading? Thank you in advance, have a good day :D

    Hi
Degrade from Windows 10 version 2004 to 1903 can only be achieved within 10 days after upgrade, in Settings> Update &Security >Recovery.
Once the option was disabled , we need to do a clean install by a Windows 10 1903 ISO image file, which can be downloaded from Visual Studio subscription, VLSC or third-party website.

    Important:

    1. backup your personal data and files to an external hard drive, use thumb drive ,or cloud location (such as OneDrive) before you reinstall.
    2. unplug all external peripherals except for the mouse , keyboard before starting.
    3. disable or uninstall any 3rd party anti-virus program to prevent it from interfering with the process.

    Hello,

You can only downgrade to 1903, if you've upgraded from it to 2004 in last 10 days. Note that V1903 may not be supported now. If you ever need to return to latest Windows 10 version after downgrade, you can upgrade using ISO file:

    Hope this helps!

In case you just upgrade from build 1903 to build 2004, you have 10 days to revert back from Settings, Update & Security->Recovery and you have option to go back to previous version. In case this option is disable or you have upgraded from different build you need to do a clean install.
You may upgrade to the latest build through the Windows Update or by manually downloading the latest build:
